During ITB Berlin, NAITM held a productive meeting with ASR – Alliance of Independent Travel Companies, a federal association representing around 600 independent travel companies in Germany.

As an independent association, ASR advocates for creating an environment that enables its members to operate autonomously and responsibly as entrepreneurs. It represents a strong network of tour operators and travel agencies that supports its members in creating new opportunities and advocating for fair competition, with a clear focus on the interests of small and medium-sized companies.

During the meeting, we presented the opportunities for cooperation with Macedonian tour operators and highlighted the potential of North Macedonia as a sustainable and authentic destination.

As part of the agreed activities, one-to-one B2B meetings are planned for October, with the possibility for them to be held online or through the organization of a roadshow, while in the second half of November a FAM trip to North Macedonia is planned for ASR members, with the aim of introducing them directly to the country’s tourism offer and destinations.
